On the Go: New Nseries devices debut at MWC 2008
by Jose Marinez
At this week’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, two new Nseries mobile devices were announced: the N96 and the N78.
The N96 gains live streaming TV and 30-second replay by way of DVB-H, the recently ratified European standard for live streaming video. All of this comes wrapped in the new, even more user-friendly S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2.

The N78 gains an FM Transmitter that enables you to send sound to a home or car stereo - very useful if you have a large quantity of music stored in the device.

On the GPS front, both devices automatically tag your images with location information. If you’re a Picasa or Flickr user, you can upload your images and view them on a map, giving your images a greater sense of context. And Assisted GPS is available on both models, which translates into faster location data.
Check out the N96 and N78 product pages for more details. And expect to see more about both models as Workshop delivers exclusive device coverage leading up to launch.
